The NBGC Gala is our largest and most important fundraising event of the year — an inspiring evening dedicated to empowering young people through leadership development and educational opportunity.

Proceeds from the Gala directly support our Youth Leadership Program and Scholarship Fund, ensuring that financial barriers never prevent a young person from participating in this life-changing experience.

Our Youth Leadership Program serves teens ages 13–18 and provides a safe, structured pathway to grow into confident leaders, mentors, and role models within our community. Participants work alongside staff to help deliver athletic, social, and educational programs while developing real-world skills that prepare them for college, careers, and lifelong success.

Through hands-on experience, mentorship, and meaningful responsibility, these young leaders help shape the daily experience of younger members — creating a powerful cycle of leadership that strengthens our entire organization.
