The Neighborhood Boys & Girls Club is reopening on Monday, July 6th, for limited programming. As the COVID-19 crisis has evolved, NBGC has remained committed to our families and community. As always, the health and well-being of the children and families that we serve is our highest priority at this time. Thank you for understanding. Please stay tuned for further information and program changes following this notice. Any changes to program information will be provided on our website, social media pages, and via email. For general questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. ATHLETICS: Our athletic season is currently suspended. We are uncertain of when we will resume programming. As a result, we are not taking registrations for any athletic programs at this time. We will continue monitor the situation and respond accordingly to best serve our children and families. For more information regarding changes to our athletic programs, please email email@example.com. SUMMER CAMP (FULL): We are excited to announce that NBGC will be reopening for Summer Camp and limited athletic programming this year. While we will not be at full capacity, we are still hopeful that this care will alleviate some of the burdens being put on families during this time.We will serve approximately 60 children a day between morning and evening camps. We will also be serving two groups of members on alternating days to allow for more members to participate in the program. For the safety of our staff and members, we will require masks in the building, routine handwashing, a social distance of 6 feet between each person, and scheduled routine cleanings of the building. Please note that this program is currently full. Please contact Bonnie Werstein, Director of Operations, at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions regarding summer camp. VIRTUAL LEARNING: We are committed to supporting as many children and families as possible during this time. To supplement our limited in-person programming offerings, we have created e-learning resources for children. We will be offering virtual programming, including live and written materials daily, Monday through Friday, from 10 am to 2 pm for registered participants. Registration is open to all ages, and the program is free of charge. For questions regarding virtual learning, please contact Director of Social Programs, Maria Gomez, at email@example.com. LEADERSHIP PROGRAM: NBGC Youth Leaders will continue to have weekly meetings on Monday evenings and participate in program planning activities with senior staff. We expect to resume outdoor leader outings in the coming months. We are not accepting new applications for the Leadership Program at this time.
