James McNulty
Executive Director
Jim became active with the organization as a member in 1965. In 1972 he joined the Leadership Program, serving as a youth leader and a staff member until 1981. Rene Torres                                                                                                                        Program Director
Rene Torres grew up in the Kiwanis Boys & Girls Club.  A graduate of Lane Tech High School, Rene lives in the southwest corner of the NBGC area.  He has spent the past eight years running athletic, after-school, recreation, fitness, and leadership programs at the Logan Square Boys & Girls Club, first as a P.E. Instructor and for the last five years as the P.E. Director.  He brings with him a diverse background in youth work and training and will be an asset to the organization and community.  To contact Rene please email him at rene@nbgc.org.

Bill Abplanalp
Director of Development
Bill became active with the organization in the early 1960's. Later that decade he joined the Leadership Program serving as a Youth Leader and a staff member until the early 1970's. He remained an active supporter and volunteer, then accepted the post of Alumni President in 1992, serving through 2000. His 14 years of experience in insurance sales and 12 years in real estate led to his appointment as Director of Development in May 2000. Bill currently serves on the Mount Prospect Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and chairs their annual golf outing. To contact Bill please email him at billnbgc@aol.com.
